Our client, a Real Estate industry leader in NY with a diversified portfolio (5 hotels, 10 Portfolios with 106 Commercial Properties, 5000 Residential units) seeks professionals to help to manage a growing Accounting team.

Senior Property Controller – NYC – 150K

Responsible for delivering GAAP financial reporting package to investors, partners, lenders and senior executives. The reports are at Owner, Joint Venture as well as REIT level. Oversee monthly and quarterly closing process; review and update workpapers; conduct variance analysis.

Manage capital project accounts, track capital expenditure. Determine maximum apartment renovation costs and the market rent after renovation. Calculate the timing and amount of MCI cost recovering, and calculate MCI rent increase for stabilized tenants.

Conduct financial analysis across company’s entire portfolios, including occupancy analysis, market-tenancy analysis, cash flow projection, and IRR analysis.

Participate due diligence process of new acquisition, which including financial analysis, underwrite modeling, property set up in MRI and Yardi accounting systems as well as preparing budget and drafting business plan.

Prepare and review annual budget and business plan, quarterly financial reforecasing and updating of business plan.

Coordinate annual audit process; review audit report and audit comments.

Supervise staffs of 10 property accountants, cash management, AP and AR. Set up monthly closing process. Create various template for recording financial information and for financial analysis. Review and correct staffs’ workpapers.

Requirements:

MUST have both Residential and Commercial LARGE NY Real Estate Company background

15 to 20 years experience

MRI Software and Yardi Software are both a plus

Corporate Accountant – NYC – 90 – 130K

For Hi Net Worth family - Partnership, trust, K1’s TAX Accounting

Manage all aspects of the Funds and family activities with administrators, custodians, auditors, and counterparties

Reconcile all investment activity of the family including the preparation of Net Worth Statements

Manage corporate and family books, including, payroll, benefits, Tax Returns, and bill paying, month end reporting.

Perform operational due diligence on all new investments for funds

Execute all trades for the Funds and Principal of family.

MUST have Partnership Tax experience and K1’s

Accounting Degree is a MUST

Treasury/Cash Manager – NYC – 150K +

For Hi Net Worth Billionaire Family

Perform and maintain cash management activities and generate daily cash position reports

Oversee and manage overnight investing of excess funds and funding of deficit balances

Prepare and execute wire transfers

Ensure proper funds management and control of all bank accounts

Review all bank analysis statements to ensure accuracy of monthly fees

Prepare and maintain monthly cash flow forecast

Responsible for maintenance of bank account oversight

Process account openings, closings, and general account maintenance requests

Senior Accountant – LONG ISLAND – 45K

Senior Accountant to quickly become an Assistant Controller.

Will be groomed into Controller down the road.

This person should have R/E background, preferably residential and commercial.

A few years Public Accounting experience a big plus.

Must have graduated college with a business, accounting or similar degree.

Must be very organized, computer literate and very energetic.

Will need to be able to handle high volume and multi-task.

Accounting/Finance Degree

Senior Accounting Manager – LONG ISLAND – 65K

Major LI REIT focused on large retail property development and management. Currently expanding their multi-million square foot portfolio (9 States) through development and redevelopment of certain existing centers and development sites.

Maintain the general ledger for the assigned portfolio

Review accounts payable and receivable activity for portfolio

Prepare annual CAM reconciliations

Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and annual reports for each property in the portfolio

Assist with consolidation and SEC reporting

Person should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance

5-10 years of property accounting experience
